Start here if Safe? App is not reminding, alerting, or saving contact information the way you expect.

Check-in timer

  • Confirm that your chosen interval is saved in Settings.
  • Open the app after changing time zones or reinstalling.
  • Make sure background data and notifications are not blocked.

SOS alerts

  • Check that your emergency contact email is correct.
  • Tell your contact to check spam or promotions folders.
  • Send only real SOS alerts when help may be needed.

Notifications

  • Enable notification permission for Safe? App.
  • Disable battery restrictions that may block reminders.
  • Keep the app updated to the latest version.
